Reflecting Cordova

Adjacent to the Copper River Gallery, the Society has a space dedicated to the many artists who have captured Cordova on canvas, in photos and many other mediums, from the late 19th Century to present day.

Eustace Ziegler, Sydney Laurence, Jules Dahlager, Walter Wolf, E.A. Hegg and many others passed through the Copper Gateway and left a train for today’s contemporary artists.

Many of the featured works in this gallery were collected directly by the Cordova Historical Society. Others were obtained through the Alaska Art Fund (previously known as the Art Acquisition Fund) funded and supported by the Rasmuson Foundation and Museums Alaska.
